The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The purpose of the Week of the Young Child™ is to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
Early childhood education is vital to our community. Children need a strong early learning foundation to succeed in school and to succeed in life. This week people around the nation will be celebrating young children. Bright Futures will be celebrating by having dress up days for your child to participate in and a parade at the end of the week.
